WEBINARS
This webinar series is part of the project “Developing Training Materials for the Accessibility and Inclusion of Romanian Migrants in the Food Industry in Ireland and Germany.” It is designed to provide practical, easy-to-understand, and inclusive learning resources that support Romanian migrants in accessing employment, adapting to workplace environments, and building long-term careers in the food sector.
The webinars cover a wide range of essential topics, including introduction to the food industry, health and safety, quality control, technical vocabulary in English and German, workplace communication, labour rights, and career development opportunities. Each session is structured to combine theoretical knowledge with practical guidance, helping learners understand real workplace expectations and apply their skills effectively.
Special attention is given to accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that the content is clear, culturally sensitive, and suitable for learners with different educational backgrounds and language levels. The materials aim to reduce barriers to employment by strengthening key competencies such as communication, teamwork, and understanding of workplace standards.
Through these webinars, the project supports not only individual learners but also contributes to more inclusive, efficient, and diverse workplaces in Ireland and Germany. By empowering migrant workers with knowledge and skills, the initiative promotes equal opportunities, professional growth, and successful integration into both the labour market and society.
